Maine Office of Tourism Selects Swardlick for Tourism Marketing
Swardlick Marketing Group of Portland, Maine has been selected by the Maine Office of Tourism to market Maine to the world. Following a robust RFP process with agency submissions from around the U.S., Swardlick was awarded the account and entered into an initial one-year contract effective January 1, 2009. The contract may be renewed annually for up to three consecutive years at the discretion of the Office of Tourism.
Agency President David Swardlick stated, “We are so honored and excited to have this opportunity to build the Maine brand as a premier vacation destination, and to work with the Maine Office of Tourism.” Steven Mason, Managing Director of Travel, Tourism and Economic Development for the agency added, “We are thrilled to be a part of the team that Maine’s Tourism Director has put together.”
Swardlick Marketing Group’s proposal included new strategies for positioning the Maine brand, exciting new creative concepts for Maine tourism advertising and innovative media strategies for an evolving consumer media environment.
